The active ingredient used in all tanning products is Dihydroxyacetone (DHA). This ingredient, which is naturally derived from sugar cane, reacts with the amino acids in the skin to creating a browning effect on the outermost layer of the skin. The intensity of the color depends on the concentration of the DHA as well as the individuals skin type. cription about this category
The main difference is rinse time. Both formulations offer the same color results and longevity. With an original tan, you will need to rinse in 8-12 hours. With a rapid tan, you will need to rinse in 1-5 hours depending on the darkness level you would like to achieve. Please note: with the rapid tan, your color will not be very visible most shower and will continue to develop for the next 24 hours.

Clients are welcome to wear as little or as much as they are comfortable with. Be mindful of tan lines. Keep in mind that I will always offer complimentary disposable items (hair ties, hair caps, nipple pasties, nose filters, and thongs) if you would like minimal lines and to keep your own items free of tanning solution. However, please understand that males are required to wear undergarments during their appointment.
The entire process from start to finish will take about 20 minutes or less.

While a common concern, it is nothing to worry about. Spray tans have come a long way, and I also customize your spray tan to your skin type and tone based on the level of darkness you want to achieve.
On average 7-14 days. However, the life of a spray tan is 50% dependent on the client's preparation and maintenance while the remaining 50% relies on the artist's application. I cannot stress enough how important it is to prep and care for your spray tan following the guidelines I give you to ensure for a long-lasting tan with an even fade.
Of course, but wear a spray tan-friendly sunscreen that won't strip your tan. Spray tans, unfortunately, do not provide UV protection, so please always wear sunscreen.
I highly recommend scheduling our tan at least two days before any significant events (wedding, photo shoot, etc.) and just one day before leaving on vacation.
While our solutions are all organic-based, vegan, and formulated with clean and minimal ingredients, I advise that all expectant or nursing mothers consult with their physician before scheduling an appointment. The FDA only approves DHA for external application, and we require that all nursing mamas wear nipple pasties during their appointment. To request an ingredient list to provide for your physician, please contact me.
